Industrial workplaces, especially construction sites and manufacturing plants, are prone to accidents such as falls and impact hazards, which can result in severe injuries or fatalities. This project introduces a Smart Hard Hat designed to enhance worker safety by detecting falls and obstacles. The system integrates an Arduino microcontroller, a vibration sensor, a rechargeable battery, and a buzzer, all embedded in a standard hard hat. When a worker experiences a fall or an impact from an obstacle, the vibration sensor triggers an alarm through the buzzer, providing an immediate warning to nearby individuals. This compact, cost-effective solution aims to reduce response times in emergencies and improve workplace safety. The hardware prototype demonstrates reliability and ease of implementation, offering a practical tool to mitigate industrial risks.
