The journal primarily focuses on producing and sharing knowledge relevant to community and social development theory and practice at the grassroots/local level, drawing on the expertise of top interdisciplinary social academics and practitioners. The International Editorial Advisory Board, consultants, and co-editors assist in upholding the high standards of scholarship, blind peer review, rigor, and timely publication of the issues. Research pieces, viewpoints, colloquiums, case studies, and book reviews are all published in the journal. Refer to the submission criteria for further information.
Scope of the Journal
Developmental questions about children's and teenagers' social cognition, emotion experience and comprehension, peer and family interactions, social skills, and theories of mind are all included in the journal content, albeit they are not the only ones. Different approaches (qualitative, quantitative, archival, etc.) are all accepted. Additionally, under our Methodology and Emergency Psychology research requests as well as the Quartet series (which consists of four papers that together tell a coherent story), we invite scholars to submit papers for review. For social psychologists, developmental psychologists, and anybody else involved in social development research or education, Social Development is a required read.
