ESP publishes several peer-reviewed publications that contain substantial original scientific research in addition to assessments and evaluations of recent studies and science policy. We want to publish articles that will significantly improve scientific understanding within or across domains. The articles you pick should include unique content with wide application. Submissions from all sources and scientific fields are welcome.

Authors should become familiar with the fundamental editorial standards for the ESP journals before submitting their work. These rules specify the rights and responsibilities that authors accept when submitting and publishing their work.
Research articles, which can be up to 4500 words long (including references, notes, and captions) or 10 journal pages, should make a significant advancement. Research articles typically include an abstract, an introduction, up to six figures or tables, sections with clear subheadings, and about 40 references. In addition to the Materials and Methods section, the supplemental materials should also provide the data needed to support the paper's conclusions.
