3. Investigation into Gender Differences among Undergraduate Students Participation in Sporting Activities in Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma | G. E. Arainru

This study investigated gender differences among undergraduate students participation in sporting activities in Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Nigeria. The study used descriptive design. Simple random sampling technique was used to select 250 subjects from 10 departments. Self-developed structured and validated like-type questionnaire was used to collect the data.

The aim of this study is to determine the level of knowledge, attitudes and practices among college students towards the health effects of the sun exposure. This study utilizes a descriptive research design where in true or false assessment test and survey checklist was the main instruments in gathering the required data. There are One hundred fifty (150) college students have served as respondents.

5. Perception of Academic Staff on Reasons for Abscondment of Sponsored Government Scholars from Nigerian Tertiary Education | Niyi Jacob Ogunode, Ajayi Rilwan Abayomi

This paper assessed the perception of academic staff on reasons for the abscondment of sponsored government scholars from Nigerian tertiary institutions. The research design adopted for this study was descriptive survey research. The population comprises all academic staff in tertiary institutions in FCT. The sample size of this study was made up of 150 academic staff selected from three tertiary institutions in the Federal Capital Development Territory, Nigeria.

This study used descriptive research design with survey checklist as the main instrument to gather the required data. There are 40 native filipino speakers as respondents. The study explores the challenges experience by the respondents in writing formal English letters.

7. Sport Orientation and Sport Engagement of University Students | Gerald Plaza Agpalo, Marshall James P. Dantic

Sport orientation is one of the least researched topic in sports while sport engagement is the other way around. The purpose of the present study is to identify the sport orientation and the level of sport engagement of the students of a state-owned university in Central Luzon, and determine the correlation between the two variables. The sample consists of 240 university students.

8. A Qualitative Study on Community Service "Baby Massage Courses for Mothers" | Noviyati Rahardjo Putri, Disa Larasati, Yesika Cahya Septiana

Baby massage provides benefits to babies, including improving sleep quality, reducing stress and anxiety, stimulating weight gain and optimizing baby development. The implementation of baby massage practices by parents, especially mothers, is based on positive knowledge, attitudes and support from the family. The aim of this community service activity is to provide mothers with experience in directly practicing baby massage, so that mothers will feel capable and confident in massaging babies in order to get positive benefits for the mother and baby.
